Hybrid Cloud Cloud Engineer – Stavanger Build the cloud infrastructure behind mission-critical organisations. Are you an infrastructure specialist who understands that cloud isn't always public cloud? Do you have hands-on experience with private cloud, virtualisation, Software-Defined Data Centres and automation — and want to work on complex environments where reliability, security and scalability really matter? We’re looking for experienced Hybrid Cloud / Private Cloud Engineers to join a world-class IT company and work with some of Norway’s leading private- and public-sector organisations. You’ll help design, build, automate and operate modern private and hybrid cloud platforms in environments where security, availability and performance are critical. We’re looking for: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with one or more private cloud platforms, such as:VMware Cloud FoundationMicrosoft Azure LocalOracle OCINutanixStrong technical understanding of virtualised infrastructure, including compute, storage and networkingExperience with Software-Defined Data Centre technologiesStrong automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilitiesFluent Norwegian, both written and spokenNorwegian citizenship and the ability to obtain the required security clearance Experience that would be valuable (but not essential): Hybrid cloud integration using Azure ArcFull-stack open-source cloud platforms such as OpenStack or Apache CloudStackArchitecture and design of private and hybrid cloud platformsAir-gapped private cloud environments in highly regulated environmentsMulti-tenant and multi-customer platformsGeo-redundancy, high availability and disaster recoveryStorage and backup technologies including HPE, Dell, NetApp, Commvault, Veeam or RubrikKubernetes in private cloud environmentsPrivate AI solutions and NVIDIA technologiesAutomation using Terraform or AnsibleRelevant industry certifications This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of traditional infrastructure, private cloud and modern cloud-native technology.
