Description

We are looking for a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to shape and evolve shared cloud platform services used across product and application teams. You will treat the platform as a product by delivering reusable building blocks, paved roads, and a consistent developer experience aligned with CCoE standards. Responsibilities Design reusable platform capabilities, including shared services, standard compute patterns, and golden baselines, to enable safe and fast workload onboardingOperate and improve centralized services such as logging, monitoring, secrets, identity, file transfers, and key managementCreate paved roads and golden paths in partnership with product teams, security, and operationsCoordinate with Cloud DevOps/Automation engineers to codify platform interfaces in IaC and pipelinesOptimize platform reliability, scalability, resilience, and developer experience through continuous improvementsRepresent the voice of the client to prioritize platform features and lifecycle investmentsVerify platform capabilities align with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture guardrails Requirements Hands-on cloud engineering experience of 5+ years, paired with a product/platform mindsetDeep expertise in AWS compute, storage, networking, and managed services, including EKS, ECS, and LambdaExpert-level knowledge of AWS managed services such as EC2 and RDSStrong foundation in designing shared services for logging, monitoring, and secrets managementBackground with centralized integrations including Transfer Family, KMS, and IAM federationFamiliarity with security-by-design practices, including IAM roles and SSO/OAuth integrationsClear understanding of SIEM feeds and policy-as-code approachesExperience defining platform APIs/interfaces and partnering with DevOps/IaC teams to automate adoptionClient-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder communication skillsEnglish proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher We offer International projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
