Senior Software Engineer / SME – Infrastructure, DevOps, SecOps, Automation & Oracle DBA Location: Qatar (On-Site) | Full-Time (12 Months Extendable Contract). Are you an experienced Infrastructure & Security Engineer with deep expertise across Oracle technologies, DevOps, Automation, Security Operations, and Database Administration? We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join a high-impact Vodafone transformation programme, helping to build, secure, automate, and operate enterprise-scale hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical platforms supporting large-scale business services while driving automation, security-by-design, and operational excellence across infrastructure and cloud ecosystems. What You'll Be Doing: Design, build, configure, and support Oracle DBX stack infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. Support DevOps and DevSecOps initiatives by embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines Manage high-availability platforms, disaster recovery, backup and restoration processes. Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, virtualization, database, and application issues, performing in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Support security operations, incident response, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements. Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, OEM, backup & recovery solutions.
