Senior Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer who will also take on the responsibilities of a Quality Engineer in a unified role. This position combines test automation with manual testing and driving quality initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will design and execute tests, both automated and manual, while proactively improving processes, mentoring the team, and ensuring best practices to enhance product quality. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts focusing on back-end and front-end systems.Perform manual testing to validate critical functionalities and ensure comprehensive coverage. Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and ensure alignment with project requirements. Drive quality improvements by defining metrics, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices. Mentor and upskill the testing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and back-end testing (e.g., REST Assured). Optimize automation frameworks and adopt new testing tools/technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine test strategies and ensure seamless communication. Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Automation Test Engineer or Quality Engineer. Strong knowledge of Java, and performance testing tools. Expertise in web/API/database testing, and manual testing. Experience in creating and maintaining test plans and test strategies.Leadership skills to mentor teams and drive quality initiatives. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and version control (e.g., Git). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
