As the first quantum architecture company, we design the blueprints and software for solving optimization problems on quantum computers. We are lucky enough to collaborate with world-leading organizations, making ground-breaking discoveries together. We've developed a fundamentally new way of solving industry-relevant problems on quantum computers. We create blueprints for quantum computers and the associated operating system - ParityOS. About the job As a Quantum Algorithm Developer for Hamiltonian simulations, you will design and implement quantum algorithms and mappings to explore classically intractable dynamical processes in physical systems using quantum computers. Material modelling will be a particular focus. By leveraging and advancing the ParityQC Architecture, you will help move quantum computing toward practical, near-term and early fault-tolerant applications. You will join a collaborative research team with strong physics expertise and quantum-computing experience. Skills & Experience PhD in physics, chemistry or material scienceStrong background in one or more of the following: – Material science / condensed matter physics – Non-equilibrium quantum many-body physics – Quantum statistical mechanics – Numerical methods for quantum systems Ability to translate physical models into Hamiltonian formulationsFamiliar with quantum algorithms for Hamiltonian simulation (e.g. QPE)Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, Rust, C++)Experience with collaborative code development (Git, unit testing, review)Fluency in English Preferred Experience Proven experience in modelling quantum systems or quantum information processesFamiliarity with quantum-simulation frameworks (e.g., QuTiP, Qiskit, PennyLane)Exposure to quantum algorithms or quantum-computing concepts (e.g., Trotterisation, variational methods)Knowledge of condensed matter physics, solids and quantum impurity models e.g. DMFTExperience with programs to model materials (VASP, CP2K, QuantumESPRESSO, etc) What we offer We are a spinoff working in one of the most exciting emerging technology fields. There are no long-time proven concepts on what we are doing – we need to invent everything from scratch, and we are therefore able to shape a whole new generation of computing.
