Developer (Node.js Full Stack) | £350/day Inside IR35 | Home office must be Blackpool - travel expected 2-3 times per month to other hubs Duration: ASAP start - Initial 6 months | Start: ASAP | Clearance: BPSS Experienced Node.js Developer required in a full-stack capacity - Node.js is used on the back-end on this project, not just front-end. You will be part of a critical public sector delivery team building and supporting high-impact services. Responsibilities: Develop in a full-stack capacity with JavaScript / Node.js heavily used on the back-endBuild and test system integrations/interfaces including public-facing and internal REST APIs/servicesApply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworksDevelop in Linux (RHEL) environments using Git / distributed version controlDevelop in cloud-based environments and support microservices architectureLead or mentor Software Engineers within Agile, multi-disciplinary teamsTranslate business requirements and user stories into technical solutionsStakeholder management and engagement with senior stakeholdersEnhance and maintain codebases developed by other engineersSupport and improve operational stability, resilience and maintainability of products Essential: JavaScript / Node.js development - full-stack capacity essential; TDD and automated testing frameworks; Linux (RHEL) environments; Git / distributed version control; Cloud-based environments; Building and testing system integrations/interfaces; Leading/mentoring Software Engineers within Agile teams; Translating business requirements into technical solutions; Senior stakeholder management Desirable: Jira, Confluence, Slack and similar collaboration tools; BDD / Cucumber; Building REST APIs/services (public-facing and internal); Microservices architecture; Supporting operational stability, resilience and maintainability Rate £350/day Inside IR35.
