Senior Cryptographic Security Engineer

Role: Senior Cryptographic Security Engineer Location: London 1-2 days per week Salary: up to £150,000 fixed + bonus + shares Join a market leading financial platform that are undergoing a large-scale transformation within their security teams. This role sits at the core of the 2027 security roadmap, This is a hands-on security engineering requirement focused on cryptography, key management, HSMs and payment security, working closely with engineering and infrastructure teams. What you’ll do Design and build cryptographic security capabilitiesWork across Application Security tooling stack (SAST, DAST, SCA)Own HSMs, key management and cryptographic servicesWorking with PIN security and secure payment applications, APIs and crypto infrastructureEmbed security across the SDLC, threat modelling and security testingBuild security tooling and automation using Go/Python What we’re looking for 5+ years within Security Engineering, Offensive Security or Application Security rolesStrong experience in cryptography, key management or payment securityHands-on HSM experience, ideally cloud based HSMsStrong skills Go and/or PythonBackground in payments, fintech, banking or crypto is highly desirable Apply using the link or send a resume to j.walsh@lawrenceharvey.com!
