QAD Solution Engineer to join a UK leading brand on a 14 month initial contract.
100% remote, excellent rates (Inside IR35), long term engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customise QAD applications using Progress 4GL/ABL.Maintain and query Progress OpenEdge and SQL databases.Support and troubleshoot system integrations and data interfaces.Provide Level 2/3 technical support and resolve application and data issues.Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts.Support testing, UAT, upgrades, patches, and deployments.Produce technical documentation and work with technical/business teams to resolve issues.
Required Skills & Experience
3–6 years of technical QAD ERP experience.Strong Progress 4GL/ABL and OpenEdge database experience.Good SQL and relational database knowledge (MS SQL/Oracle).Understanding of SAP integrations and common integration methods.Experience with QAD reporting tools, Cyberquery, Excel, or SQL-based reporting.
