Company Profile Profitable, post-IPO travel tech SaaS helping hotels across Asia is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead its move from monolith to microservice. The Role The company is moving to a service-oriented architecture, with focus on kotlin and GolangAct as a domain leader: work with PMs to define what to build, mentor engineers, set architecture standards, and drive technical decisions across teams.Push a "you build it, you run it" culture: zero-downtime deployments, observability, and honest post-mortems. Your Skills Statically-typed language experience (Go, Kotlin, Scala, Rust, or C#) with strong async and concurrency knowledge.Experience building services in an SOA, plus maintaining and refactoring monolithic or legacy codebases.CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and zero-downtime deployments.Scalable storage (Cassandra, AWS Aurora) and database schema design for consistency and scale.Monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).Strong English communication; able to mentor, define deliverables, and influence across teams.
