Key Responsibilities API & Systems Integration: Connect disparate external and internal systems, databases, and third-party software into a centralised platform via RESTful APIs and webhook integrations.Back-End Development: Design and build efficient server-side logic, data pipelines, and internal endpoints primarily using Python (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django).Database Management: Write clean, optimised SQL queries and assist in structuring database schemas (PostgreSQL / MySQL) to consolidate data effectively.Front-End Development: Build clean, responsive, and intuitive web interfaces and dashboards using HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript.System Architecture & Testing: Work with key stakeholders to map out data flows, write testable code, and ensure data security and platform stability.Documentation & Version Control: Maintain clear technical documentation and manage codebase versioning via Git. What We Are Looking For Essential Skills: Core Front-End: Strong competency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.Python Back-End: Practical experience using Python to build web services, communicate with APIs, or process data.SQL & Databases: Solid working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite) and database querying.API Expertise: Hands-on experience working with, consuming, and designing REST APIs (JSON, authentication, rate limits).Version Control: Proficient with Git and workflow platforms (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket).Problem-Solving Mindset: A generalist approach, you enjoy digging into raw data, figuring out how systems connect, and finding clean solutions rather than relying on heavy pre-built templates. Desirable (Bonus) Skills: Familiarity with front-end utility frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap) or modern JS frameworks (Vue.js, React).Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean) and server deployment processes.Exposure to automated data syncs, scheduled cron jobs, or task queues.
