Job Overview For our Lugano Office, we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in deploying and configuring Java/Spring boot-based applicationsto join our team for an exciting banking project. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the automation, reliability, and scalability of CI/CD pipelines supporting a complex banking web application. You'll play a key role in enabling fast and secure delivery of Java/Spring Boot services, working at the intersection of development, infrastructure, and operations. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the build, test, and deployment lifecycle of web applicationsManage and support the runtime environment of Java/Spring Boot microservices in containerized or virtualized environmentsMonitor application performance and health using Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability toolsTroubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across dev, staging, and production environmentsWork closely with development teams to understand integration needs and ensure seamless delivery pipelinesMaintain clear documentation and foster active collaboration with international teams and stakeholders Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experienceAbout 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, with solid hands-on experience in CI/CD, automation, deployment and configuration, using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab and similar technologiesExperience deploying and configuring Java/Spring Boot web applications within CI/CD pipelines, with a good understanding of the development lifecycle and application deployment processesFamiliarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)Hands-on experiencewith Graphana and PrometheusSolid Linux know-how and proficiency in Unix Shell scriptingExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian Location Requirement: We do not offer a fully remote work policyCandidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland)or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese, etc.)Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy Are you looking for an exciting and challenging job in a dynamic environment?
