Senior Software QA Engineer Up to 80,000 EUR North Rhine-Westphalia based (Remote working options possible) Want to work on software that genuinely matters? where reliability isn't just "nice to have", but something clinicians and patients depend on? A fast-growing HealthTech start-up is building products that help hospitals run smarter and deliver better care, and they are looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer to join the journey. This is a role for someone who loves quality, enjoys partnering closely with engineers, and wants to help shape how QA is done in a product-led start-up environment. In this role: You will be part of a driven team modernising healthcare with technology and improving how software is designed, built, tested, and released. You will have a voice early in delivery, influence test strategy, and help scale automation so the team can ship with confidence. Day to Day; Helping the team deliver dependable releases in an Agile / sprint-based environmentOwning a broad testing approach across web/mobile, including: Functional and regression testing, Acceptance testing.Performance-focused checks where neededInvestigating issues thoroughly and driving improvements so problems do not repeatBuilding and evolving automation to increase coverage and reduce manual overheadKeeping test artefacts clear and current (test plans, cases, evidence), with an appreciation for compliance-minded environments Candidate profile: Software QA (or a strong mix of QA + development experience)Confident testing web and mobile applicationsSolid understanding of QA fundamentals: test design, planning, execution, defect lifecycleComfortable with test automation (tooling may include Selenium/Playwright and common unit/integration frameworks)Practical experience working with Agile teams and tools like JiraISTQB Foundation (or equivalent baseline knowledge)English (C1+) and German (B2+) Call to Action: I encourage qualified candidates to submit their updated CV and become part of this exciting journey with our Client, where your expertise will truly make an impact.
