This is a Fully Remote Job About Our Client: The organization is a California-based Information Technology Consulting firm specializing in supporting the public sector since 2010. It focuses on assisting government clients in delivering large, complex systems and solutions. The company is a small but rapidly growing firm that combines skilled personnel with innovative ideas to achieve significant results for its clients. About the Opportunity: The MULESOFT DEVELOPER role is integral to modernizing legacy systems by migrating to Salesforce and supporting integration efforts between existing platforms and new technologies. This position involves architecting solutions, developing plans, and executing transitions, ensuring seamless data flow and operational continuity. The role contributes to the organization's modernization initiatives by providing expertise in legacy systems, Salesforce, and architecture design. Responsibilities: Develop detailed solution specifications and business rules documentation.Design integrations and conceptual data models.Gather and document requirements for business process realignment.Create support guides and system design documents.Develop, modify, and implement integration code and solutions.Conduct unit, system integration, and end-to-end testing, documenting results.Manage project plans including risk, schedule, communication, cost, and quality assurance.Analyze existing architecture and legacy systems to propose platform-based solutions.Develop and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and release management.Conduct knowledge transfer, mentoring, and develop training materials.Provide post-implementation support and documentation. Requirements: Experience with MuleSoft development and Salesforce integration.Knowledge of legacy systems including Java, z/OS Connect, IBM Host Access Transformation Services (HATS), and mainframe technologies.Skills in various technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, GitHub/GitLab, Liberty/WebSphere, AIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, IBM Integration Bus, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and related tools.Ability to perform business and technical analysis, documentation, project management, and testing.
