Cloud Engineer

We are supporting a host of organisation within the life sciences sector as they continue to invest in their technology and cloud environment. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineers to support the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across a complex enterprise environment. You will work closely with infrastructure, architecture, security and application teams to help deliver cloud solutions that support wider digital and technology transformation programmes. Key responsibilities will include: Designing, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or AzureSupporting cloud migration and modernisation initiativesBuilding and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as CodeDeveloping and improving CI/CD pipelines and automationWorking with Kubernetes, containers and modern cloud-native technologiesSupporting cloud security, governance and compliance requirementsMonitoring, troubleshooting and improving cloud platform performanceWorking with internal technology teams and external partners across Europe What we're looking for Strong commercial experience working as a Cloud Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps EngineerStrong experience with AWS and/or Microsoft AzureInfrastructure-as-Code experience, ideally TerraformExperience with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD toolingStrong automation and scripting capabilityPrevious experience working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices or wider life sciences environments would be highly advantageousExperience operating within regulated or highly controlled environmentsComfortable working within international technology teams This is an excellent opportunity to join a significant technology programme within an organisation continuing to invest heavily across cloud, infrastructure and digital transformation.
