This high-profile initiative is focused on modernising identity and access management capabilities, reducing reliance on legacy technologies and strengthening cybersecurity through contemporary cloud-first solutions. Your new role As a Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation and support of enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms that underpin a large-scale identity modernisation program. Working within a complex hybrid environment, you will support Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 technologies while contributing to secure authentication, access management and cloud transformation outcomes. Responsibilities will include infrastructure design, environment management, automation, troubleshooting, operational readiness, technical documentation and supporting production deployments. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer or Systems Engineer within complex enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Zero Trust principles.Exposure to Intune, Citrix, virtual desktop technologies and endpoint management solutions.Knowledge of networking, DNS, certificates, firewalls, remote access and infrastructure security.Experience with automation and scripting technologies such as PowerShell.Excellent documentation, troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.Baseline Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.What you'll get in return Initial 12-month contract with a potential 12-month extension.Opportunity to work on a major cloud and identity transformation program.Exposure to modern Microsoft technologies including Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.Collaborative project environment working alongside infrastructure, cybersecurity and architecture specialists.Canberra-based opportunity within a large-scale enterprise technology environment.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
