Platform Engineer

Senior Platform Engineer - Data Platform We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with strong Data Engineering experience to help maintain and further develop an established data platform. You'll act as the link between platform, data, cloud and business teams, ensuring changes are scalable, governed and understood across the wider environment. What you'll do Maintain and further develop data platform infrastructureManage and improveise Snowflake platform componentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub ActionsDevelop reusable deployment patterns, configurations and standardsManage infrastructure using Terraform / IaCInvestigate and resolve platform, deployment, access and integration issuesIdentify dependencies and understand the downstream impact of platform changesSupport data delivery and data applicationsWork with Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, Architects, BI and business stakeholdersTranslate business and technical problems into practical solutionsContribute to data governance, security and platform standards What we're looking for Senior-level Platform Engineering experienceStrong Snowflake experienceStrong Terraform / Infrastructure as CodeExperience with CI/CD and GitHub ActionsGood SQL knowledgeExperience working with data platforms and infrastructureUnderstanding of data governance and data cataloguingStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot independently and understand wider platform impactAzure experience preferred; AWS also consideredADF, Databricks, Azure Storage or Power BI experience is advantageous The key: Platform Engineer first, with strong Data Engineering capabilities.
