Our team of software engineers works on interesting problems across the entire technology stack, from embedded systems to web and mobile applications, finding creative ways to build and deliver the software solutions our clients need. The systems that run our software matter as much as the software itself. We are looking for someone to help us build and operate them. We are expanding our software engineering team in concert with customer growth and are looking for a Software Engineer with skills in frontend, backend development and solving complex problems. We are looking for talented junior to mid-level engineers who are keen to share knowledge while continuing to develop their skills alongside the team. The role is for an engineer who cares about the entire life-cycle of the software they write. Working as part of a development team, you will build and maintain software our customers rely on. The scope of the position will depend on the experience you bring. Curiosity and a genuine interest of technology and craft are key to this role. We care how you think through a problem and how you communicate your work. There is potential for the right applicant to take on real responsibility in the early stages of this role with appropriate support. We do not expect you to arrive knowing everything, but we do expect you to want to learn it. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain bespoke software using modern frontend and backend technologies.Design and develop software with strong emphasis on security-by-design, maintainability, and scalability.Perform root cause analysis on failures across the stack, from application code to kernel to network to hardware, and fixing those problems.Work with AI and develop AI-focused tooling.Integrate and deploy software across diverse enterprise environments, troubleshoot issues, and support clients through delivery.Collaborate across team disciplines to prototype and develop software.Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code that follows industry best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews, contribute to engineering best practices, and maintain high software quality.Document as you go, and document how systems operate, so that knowledge lives in version control and can be built upon.Learn continuously, pick up new tools, platforms, and domains quickly, and share what you find with the team.
