🚨 Senior OpenShift Automation Engineer 📍 Odijk / Amstelveen 🏠 Hybrid – max. 2 days onsite per week 🗣 Dutch & English 🇳🇱 Dutch nationality required 💶 Rate: €80-€100 per hour freelance OR up to €110,000 on payroll I’m recruiting for a senior OpenShift specialist to join a large-scale infrastructure modernisation programme, working across multiple business-critical Red Hat OpenShift clusters. Key responsibilities: Manage and optimise large enterprise OpenShift environmentsAutomate provisioning, upgrades, patching and lifecycle managementBuild automation using Ansible, scripting and API integrationsDrive GitOps / CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practicesImprove platform security, scalability, availability and standardisationTroubleshoot complex platform issues and perform root-cause analysisIntegrate OpenShift with networking, storage, IAM, monitoring and security services What they’re looking for: Strong senior-level Red Hat OpenShift experience5-7+ years across Linux, DevOps, automation and container platformsDeep knowledge of Kubernetes, RHEL and AnsibleExperience managing multiple large production clustersStrong Git, CI/CD, GitOps and IaC experienceTerraform and OpenShift enterprise tooling are advantageous This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to work on large-scale, mission-critical OpenShift environments with significant ownership across automation and platform improvement.
