Join us as a System Administrator Location: Kraków Hybrid model: Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old About the team: We are looking for a System Administrator to join our Infrastructure Strategy team. In this role, you will operate, maintain, upgrade, secure, and monitor multiple OpenShift clusters and the services that support them. You will partner with application teams to onboard, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain containerized applications, helping ensure a reliable, scalable, and well-governed platform. In Our Team, You Will Be Responsible For Install, configure, administer, patch, and upgrade OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters across their lifecycleMonitor cluster health, capacity, performance, availability, and security; identify risks and implement preventative improvementsProvide day-to-day operational support for containerized applications, including onboarding, deployment, configuration, scaling, and troubleshootingPartner with development teams to migrate applications to the container platform and promote reliable operating practicesBuild, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation for platform and application deploymentsAdminister supporting platform services, including container registries, storage, logging and monitoring, Kafka/Strimzi, and OpenTelemetry for SplunkManage platform access, certificates, secrets, networking, backup and recovery procedures, and configuration in line with security and compliance requirementsCreate and maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, architecture records, and operational proceduresInvestigate incidents and recurring problems, coordinate resolution of high-severity issues, and provide clear summaries to senior managementParticipate in an on-call rotation supporting production platforms and containerized applications What We’re Looking For Hands-on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift in production, including installation, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshootingStrong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and operations, including workloads, networking, storage, security, and role-based access controlExperience supporting containerized applications and working with Docker or other OCI-compatible container toolsProficiency with Linux administration and scripting or automation using toolsWorking knowledge of CI/CD and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, and NexusStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across distributed systems, networks, and application platformsAbility to communicate clearly, collaborate with application and infrastructure teams, and maintain high-quality technical documentationWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation and to learn new platform technologiesPreferred: Proficiency in deploying and supporting Kubernetes platformPreferred: Computer Science background and strong interest in working on highly technical systems What We Offer To encourage cultural awareness and philanthropy, BBHers have 1 Culture Celebration Day and 1 Community Service Day in addition to their paid standard vacation allowancePrivate medical careLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program - offering independent and confidential counselling services for you and your family.
