Platform/DevOps Engineer Location: SCB MYS SL Petaling Jaya Years of Experience: 7 -10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Python to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment strategies.Implement security best practices across the platform and ensure compliance with industry standards.Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and optimize resource utilization.Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.Participate in on call rotations and provide support for production systems.Mandatory Skills: Strong proficiency in Python programming.Extensive experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services.Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Preferred Skills: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.Knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.Understanding of container orchestration and service mesh technologies.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.7 10 years of experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert) are a plus.
