Senior C++ Software Engineer

Senior C++ engineers to build and own core trading systems. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 You'll work across multiple internal trading teams, building the low-latency, high-performance software they depend on. The code sits directly in the latency-critical path, and when it's slow or wrong, everyone knows about it straight away. These firms run flat with very little hierarchy. You'll work directly with traders, quants and other engineers without layers of management in between, and you'll own your work end to end, from requirements through design, build, test, deploy and production support. Good ideas get built quickly, and the feedback is immediate. Experience Very deep technical experience is required. You write strong modern C++ for performance, not just correctness, and you understand what the compiler, the kernel and the hardware are doing with your code. You've built systems where latency and throughput actually mattered. Prior trading or capital markets knowledge is not required, because they'll teach you the markets. There's a strong preference for engineers coming out of Big Tech who've worked on systems-level or performance-critical infrastructure. If you're an Australian working overseas and thinking about coming home, this is a good reason to do it. Mandarin speakers will be a massive bonus.
