YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Product Design
Consult with key stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirementsEngage with project scoping activities and contribute to technical design decisionsSupport project planning activities including timeline estimation and resource allocation
Development
Collaborate with other software engineers on multi-disciplinary projectsDevelop and deploy maintainable, extensible, and scalable codeDesign and implement internal business automation tools and processes
System Design
Develop scalable, reliable cloud data hosting and processing solutionsDesign and implement processes for proactive issue identification and resolutionDeploy and maintain logging frameworks and performance monitoring tools
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
2+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical fieldStrong proficiency in Python, Go, or other general purpose programming languagesInitiative to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirementsExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly AWS CDK for infrastructure as codeKnowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
Desirable Qualifications
Familiarity with testing frameworks and practices (unit testing, integration testing)Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practicesExperience with API design and RESTful servicesExperience with IoT/distributed hardware monitoring and maintenance.
