What you'll do
Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-impact features, designing and scaling the systems that enable our clinical team to deliver personalized careCollaborate on designing and implementing new systems that enable our clinical team to deliver personalized, data-driven careArchitect and build robust AI-powered agents and workflows that directly enhance clinician efficiency and improve patient outcomesEnhance our mobile and web platforms, ensuring a seamless, highly reliable experience that keeps parents and families supported throughout their journeyPartner cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and clinical staff to translate ambiguous user needs into elegant, scalable technical solutions
Who you are
5+ years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining high-quality software systems in a production environmentA product-minded engineer who thrives on owning outcomes, navigating ambiguity, and seeing your work have a direct impact on usersHave proficiency in one or more languages like Java, C#, Kotlin, Python, Go, or similarHave experience developing applications with modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue.jsPassionate about leveraging LLMs and agentic tooling to multiply your own engineering output and to build innovative product featuresEnjoy tackling complex problems and avoid unnecessary complexityPrior experience in AI/ML, natural language processing, or building agent-based systems in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment is highly preferredHave worked in an early stage, fast-paced, product-oriented environmentHave a strong foundation in computer science, typically from a bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent professional experience
Compensation
The expected base salary range offered for this role is $160,000 - $220,000.
This role is also eligible for equity, giving you an ownership stake in Pomelo’s mission.
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
