The Magento Web Administrator/Developer will be instrumental in the continual improvement, optimization, and management of Lokar’s Magento-based e-commerce platform.
In this hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between technical development and daily store administration.
You will be responsible for enhancing the website’s functionality, optimizing product data organization, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality user experience for our customers.
Clear communication and organizational skills are crucial, as you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Graphic Design, IT, and upper management to maintain and grow the website.
Core Responsibilities
Development & Customization: Write and maintain custom code using HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, and JavaScript.Platform Maintenance: Manage Magento 2 platform migrations, core upgrades, security patches, and routine version updates.Integrations & APIs: Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize ERP integrations, payment gateways, tax automation, and freight/shipping modules using SOAP and REST APIs.Store Optimization: Manage Magento themes, plugins, and third-party extensions to improve store functionality and organization.Infrastructure & Security: Maintain strong website security protocols and manage web hosting configurations within a Linux server environment.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Graphic Design, Sales, and Marketing teams to implement site updates, while remaining prepared to work independently on technical tasks.
