About The Role We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer / Technical Lead Developer / PHP Tech Lead / Technical Lead to join our dynamic team on an urgent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the PHP development team, overseeing the full lifecycle of web application projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in PHP technologies, along with proven leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Laravel, WordPress, REST APIs, and database management, as well as excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is a contract position suitable for professionals looking to make a significant impact through innovative development practices and technical leadership. Qualifications Minimum of 4 to 7 years of professional experience in PHP development, with demonstrated team leadership skills.At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Laravel and MySQL.Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working with WordPress.Strong understanding of RESTful services and API integration.Excellent knowledge of relational database concepts and database design principles.Proficiency with version control systems, particularly GIT.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Ability to adapt and learn new programming languages, tools, or frameworks as required by project needs.Previous experience in technical leadership or supervisory roles is preferred. Responsibilities Lead and mentor the PHP development team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.Collaborate with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scope.Design, develop, and optimize web applications using PHP, Laravel, WordPress, and related technologies.Ensure the implementation of best coding practices, security standards, and performance optimization.Integrate third-party APIs and develop RESTful services to support application functionalities.Manage version control processes and code repositories using GIT.Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues promptly.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and frameworks to bring innovative solutions to projects.Coordinate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing and quality assurance of deliverables.Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
