Senior Frontend Developer with German

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer fluent in German and English to join our team for a leading client in the energy and critical infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate has strong experience building data-heavy web applications with React, Next.js and TypeScript, and has worked with headless CMS platforms such as Sitecore XM Cloud in an enterprise environment. The successful candidate will help build a modern web application that gives users better access to technical asset information. The work covers frontend development, a backend-for-frontend layer and integration with a headless CMS. The application is data-heavy and includes bulk import and export of structured data (for example from Excel), validation, filtering and visualisation. Responsibilities: Design, build and maintain frontend features using React, Next.js and TypeScript.Build and maintain a backend-for-frontend (BFF) layer using Nest.js.Integrate the application with Sitecore XM Cloud or a similar headless CMS.Build features for bulk import and export of structured data (e.g. Excel), including validation and error handling.Implement filtering, search and data visualisation for large datasets.Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs.Contribute to a microfrontend architecture and help keep the frontend scalable and maintainable.Build accessible, responsive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS and modern component libraries such as Radix UI.Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and deploy to Microsoft Azure.Improve frontend performance and code quality.Work closely with architects, backend developers and business stakeholders in an agile team. Requirements: 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.3+ years of hands-on experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.1+ year of experience with headless CMS platforms, preferably Sitecore XM Cloud, or a comparable platform.Proven experience with microfrontend architectures.Proven experience building backend-for-frontend layers with Nest.js.3+ years of experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.Strong HTML and CSS skills in modern web applications.Experience with Tailwind CSS and modern UI component frameworks (Radix UI or similar).Experience developing data-intensive web applications, including bulk data processing.Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines.Fluent German (B2 or higher) and very good English, both mandatory. Nice to have / Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in monorepo-based development environments.Experience designing scalable frontend architectures in enterprise environments.Experience with frontend performance optimisation.Experience in energy, utilities or other critical infrastructure environments.
