Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving deployment processes, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring security and scalability across AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, or Fargate.Monitor application and infrastructure performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and logging tools.Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and network security controls.Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirements.Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, Lambda, and ECS/EKS.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS DevOps tools.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Preferred Skills
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Professional, SysOps Administrator).Experience with DevSecOps practices and security automation.Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems.Experience with multi-account AWS environments and landing zones.Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.Security Clearance (Preferred/Required)
Australian Citizenship preferred.Active Baseline, NV1, or NV2 Security Clearance is highly desirable.Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
