Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join our engineering team.
In this role, you will assist and participate in the development and improvement of our software platform.
As a Software Developer, you will be deeply involved in the development and improvement of our Retrospect platform.
You will play a key role in achieving our strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and system componentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system functionality and efficiency.Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisionsEnsure software quality by adherence to standards and best practices.Participate in code reviews and ensure high quality code and reliabilityDebug, profile, and optimize performance in complex systemsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.4+ years of experience in software development and systems integrationStrong understanding of data protection, replication, and consistency models in distributed environments.Extensive experience in either Java, C++, Rust, Python or other modern programming languagesSolid understanding of backend system design and software architecture in a distributed, fault tolerant systemStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExperience with ZFS, or other advanced Unix-based file systemsExtensive knowledge of S3-compatible object storage architectureUnderstanding of networking concepts and protocolsPreferred Qualifications
Knowledge of erasure coding, tiered storage, or hybrid cloud integrationExperience integrating object storage into storage platforms.Familiarity with storage networking protocols (NFS, SMB, iSCSI).Prior experience with enterprise or hyperscale storage vendors.
