Your Profile & DNA:
We are looking for an experienced L3 Azure Cloud Engineer / Azure Cloud SME with strong expertise in Azure architecture, cloud governance, security, IaC, automation, and L3 production support.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can design secure and scalable Azure solutions while also troubleshooting complex production issues and driving cloud engineering best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
Act as an Azure Cloud SME and provide expert technical guidance.Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized Azure architectures.Architect reusable and modular IaC templates using Bicep and Terraform.Define and enforce Azure governance, policies, tagging, naming standards, and cloud guardrails.Design and audit secure identity architectures using Microsoft Entra ID.Work with Management Groups, Subscriptions, RBAC, Conditional Access, and Managed Identities.Drive Zero Trust, encryption, threat protection, and cloud security initiatives.Work with Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.Oversee cloud reliability and resilience practices.Provide L3 troubleshooting and lead Root Cause Analysis for critical incidents.Review Pull Requests and provide technical feedback.Promote DevOps best practices, automated validation, testing, and change control.Use Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other cloud-native tools appropriately.Create Product Backlog Items / User Stories and contribute to an Agile way of working.Continuously evaluate and adopt new Azure and cloud technologies.
Qualification & Experience
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.Expert knowledge of Microsoft AzureStrong Azure IaaS & PaaS management and troubleshootingHands-on Bicep & Terraform experienceStrong Entra ID knowledgeAzure Policy & cloud governanceDefender for Cloud & Microsoft SentinelAzure PowerShell / Azure CLICloud security, Zero Trust, encryption & complianceL3 production support and incident troubleshootingRoot Cause Analysis experienceDevOps and CI/CD best practicesExperience working in an Agile environmentAbility to write PBIs / User StoriesWillingness to learn and adopt new technologiesThe role requires availability for P1 incident on-call support outside normal working hours.
