About The Role We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team at Excelon Solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining features for our core telecommunications operations platform. You will work within a mature application environment, leveraging your expertise to improve system functionality, optimize performance, and ensure operational stability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with PHP and Laravel, as well as frontend skills in Vue.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS for building responsive user interfaces. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing complex application issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to continuous application modernization efforts. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in backend development using PHP and Laravel framework.Strong proficiency in frontend technologies including Vue.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.Experience working with mature codebases, ideally around ten years old, and maintaining legacy systems.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex application and data issues.Familiarity with source control management tools such as GitLab, including merge requests, issue tracking, and release management.Knowledge of telecommunications operations and workflows to translate operational requirements into reliable software solutions.Experience with automated testing, regression testing, and validation of acceptance criteria.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams including QA, product owners, and operations.Ability to responsibly utilize AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, and documentation tasks.Experience with application modernization, technical debt reduction, and architectural planning is a plus.
