Description

individee builds Ondeva, a low-code platform that lets our clients build and run production web applications without writing code. Alongside Ondeva, we build and maintain web applications for our clients across a range of industries. We're a small, international team in Berlin. Everyone here works directly, owns what they're building, and speaks up when something isn't right. We're not the right fit for everyone β€” but if you want to see the real impact of your work and have a direct line to the people making decisions, you'll feel at home. About the Role We're hiring a Full Stack Developer to take ownership of feature development across our backend and frontend systems. You'll work within our Scrum process on clearly scoped tickets β€” the work is structured and well-defined. What we need from you beyond clean execution is the judgment to notice when something is off and the initiative to say so and help fix it. This is a permanent position and we're hiring urgently. What You'll Work On The bulk of your work will be feature development for our largest client β€” a high-traffic, publicly facing platform with a large and active user base. You'll work across the full stack β€” REST APIs in Java Spring Boot on the backend, feature development in Angular on the frontend, with MongoDB for persistence and ClickHouse feeding the analytics layer. Day to day that means building REST endpoints with proper validation and error handling, integrating external services and APIs, building Angular components and views that match functional and visual requirements, writing to and querying MongoDB, and occasionally working with our ClickHouse analytics setup. You'll also write documentation β€” not as an afterthought, but as part of closing a ticket. Beyond execution, we expect you to raise things when something looks wrong β€” in the code, in the ticket, or in the approach. Noticing and saying something is part of the job. What We Expect From You 2–4 years of professional experience in full stack developmentSolid, production-tested experience with Java Spring Boot and REST API developmentComfortable building and maintaining Angular frontendsExperience with MongoDB or a comparable document databaseIndependent from day one β€” you can pick up a well-scoped ticket, execute it cleanly, and manage your own progress without someone checking in constantlyA grounded relationship with AI β€” you use it where it makes you faster and better, you question it where it doesn't, and you don't mistake its confidence for correctnessDirect communicator β€” we give and expect honest, straightforward feedbackFluent English, spoken and written Nice to Have ClickHouse or columnar database experienceApache Wicket β€” we have a legacy codebase on Wicket, prior exposure is a plus but not requiredGerman (B1+) β€” we work with German-speaking clients, a genuine bonus What We Offer Salary: €50,000–€60,000, based on experienceA small team where your work is visible and matters β€” no disappearing into a large orgDirect access to senior engineering and real influence over technical decisionsA structured codebase with real documentation and a mature Scrum process β€” you won't be walking into chaosHybrid work, flexible scheduleYearly performance bonus, regular team events
