Fanvue is one of the fastest-growing creator monetisation platforms globally.
We're an AI-powered, creator-first platform helping creators connect, engage, and earn directly from their audiences at scale.
Following our recent Series A, Fanvue has surpassed $200M+ in annual recurring revenue, with triple-digit year-on-year growth, supporting hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans worldwide.
We're hiring a Staff Software Engineer who thinks like a product owner and builds like a senior engineer.
This is a role for someone who has shipped product that millions of people use, owned features from the first sketch to the metrics review, and knows when to move fast and when to build for the long run.
You'll work across the stack, shape what we build as much as how we build it, and set the bar for product engineering at Fanvue.
AI is transforming how we build software and what our product can do, and you'll be at the centre of both.
๐ฐ ยฃ150,000
๐ Salary based on London.
Other locations may vary.
๐ฏ The Role
You'll own product areas end to end, working directly with product, design and data to decide what to build, then shipping it to creators and fans at speed.
Our stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js and PostgreSQL on AWS.
You'll lead the technical direction for major product bets, build AI-powered features that change how creators run their business, and make sure the platform underneath them scales as we grow.
Beyond shipping, you'll be a bar raiser and mentor, and your presence will make every engineer around you more product-minded.
๐ What You'll Do

10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a strong track record of shipping user-facing productProven impact on products used by millions, with clear examples of features you owned and the results they droveDeep expertise in TypeScript, React and Node.js, with solid experience across APIs, PostgreSQL and AWSStrong product sense: you know what good looks like for users and can argue for itComfortable with ambiguity, turning a loose problem into a shipped solution without waiting for a perfect specExperience building with LLM APIs and AI-powered features in productionFluent with AI-assisted development tools and keen to help teams adopt them effectivelyA natural mentor who elevates other engineers through example, not authorityStrong communicator who can work as easily with designers and commercial teams as with engineers
โจ You'll Thrive Here If
You care about the outcome for users, not just the quality of the codeYou want to see your work in front of creators and fans within days, not quartersYou enjoy owning a problem end to end and being accountable for the resultYou are motivated by mentoring and raising the product bar for teamsYou are excited about building AI-native product experiences
โ ๏ธ You'll Struggle Here If
You prefer management or strategy over hands-on engineeringYou want detailed specs handed to you rather than helping shape themYou are not comfortable owning the quality and reliability of what you shipYou see mentoring as outside your job descriptionYou are resistant to AI tools changing how engineering works
