Description

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with strong hands-on expertise in modern and advanced C++ development within a Windows environment. The role requires solid object-oriented design skills and the ability to work effectively with complex software systems using current development and version-control tooling. You will work with a technology stack that includes C++20, C#, Python, Visual Studio 2022, Git/GitHub and Windows 11. Depending on the project, the work may also involve user-interface technologies such as MFC and WPF, as well as C# and PLC-related handler components. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain software using modern C++, with C++20 as part of the core technology stack.Apply object-oriented design principles to build maintainable solutions for complex software environments.Develop and support software in Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 on Windows 11.Use Python where required for development, tooling, automation or supporting engineering activities.Work with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative software development.Contribute to UI-related development using MFC and, where relevant, WPF and C#.Contribute to handler-related software where C# and PLC knowledge may be applicable.Work with JIRA for project tracking and TeamCity within the CI/CD environment.Collaborate effectively with international colleagues and follow structured engineering processes with a high level of rigor. Requirements Must-have: Strong professional experience with modern and advanced C++.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.Python development experience.Strong knowledge of object-oriented design.Experience with Git-based version control.Strong experience working in Windows environments.Professional proficiency in English.Strong communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with technical complexity.Fast learner with a rigorous, process-oriented approach.Comfortable working in an international environment and travelling when required.
