About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Work Student to support our HR team in Amsterdam. This is an entry-level opportunity for a student who would like to gain practical experience in HR operations within a professional and international environment. You will support a broad range of administrative and operational HR activities, including onboarding, relocation support, employee documentation, data quality, filing, and day-to-day employee service requests. What You Will Do Support onboarding and relocation administration, including drafting contracts, updating new hire trackers, following up on missing information, supporting first-day onboarding actions, and helping with relocation coordination. Assist with HR administration such as drafting employer statements and change letters, checking holiday balance, tracking sick leave, and responding to employee queries. Help keep employee files and HR records accurate, complete, and well organised. Support HR data quality and compliance-related activities, including consistency checks, document cleanup, visa tracking, family leave tracking, and filing activities. Assist with HR process improvements, updates to internal HR resources, backlog reduction, and selected employee initiatives. Who You Are You are currently enrolled in a relevant study programme, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field with a strong interest in Human Resources. You are accurate, organised, and able to work with confidential information. You are proactive, reliable, and comfortable following up on routine tasks and open actions. You have clear written and verbal communication skills in English. You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications and willing to learn HR systems and document management tools. Previous office or administrative experience is a plus, but not required. What You Will Gain Hands-on experience in HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
