About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi This Wellington based role is for someone exceptional - an "all-rounder". You work well with clients and stakeholders, gel with the team and when the chips come down... you get things done, even if that means flying solo. Best practices, architecture and automation are your bread and butter, and you overflow with ideas on how to make things better, yet you are pragmatic and able to prioritise to fit delivery within time and budget. This isn't your standard technical lead role. You'll be a high-impact technical lead who moves across engagements to add momentum and help unblock critical issues. Skills and experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako Essential experience: 10+ years delivering software solutions in a commercial environmentDeep, hands-on experience with the Microsoft C# development stack on .NETSignificant development experience utilising Angular 10+, JavaScript/TypeScriptSignificant development experience with either Flutter or React NativeSuperb communication skills, oral and written, and ability to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholdersCustomer-facing experience, ideally in a consultancy environment, both in presales and project-led interactionsFamiliar with software development best practices and modern architecture patternsLeadership experience, running software development squadsExperience with setting up CI/CD pipelines with build and test automation (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)A track record of championing/supporting the adoption of AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) in a commercial environmentNOTE: Please ensure that any leadership, consulting or customer-facing experience, if any, is clearly highlighted in your resume Nice to have: Experience working in Scrum and Kanban teamsFamiliar with PythonWeb development experience using React and other similar frameworksRelevant Microsoft certificationsExperience in non-Microsoft tools and frameworks About us | Mō mātou Our people are awesome problem solvers who love turning tech into real-world solutions.
