About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Frontend Developer to join our innovative team at Cyberport GmbH. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing modern, high-performance web frontends that reach millions of users daily. Your primary focus will be on creating engaging, accessible, and efficient user interfaces for our online platforms, including cyberport.de and computeruniverse.net. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend developers to design, develop, and enhance new features and existing components. Embracing the latest web technologies such as React, TypeScript, Next.js, HTML, and CSS, you will contribute to shaping the future of our digital shopping experience. Additionally, your proactive engagement with AI coding tools and continuous learning will help drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge in the e-commerce sector. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess at least six years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer or in a comparable role. You should have a solid command of React, TypeScript, and Next.js, with a proven track record of developing scalable and performant web applications. Expertise in modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and accessibility standards (WCAG), is essential. You should be familiar with build processes, testing frameworks, and tools such as Storybook to ensure quality and stability. Experience working with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot is highly desirable, along with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Cloud, which are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills, responsibility from concept to deployment, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are critical for success in this role. Responsibilities As a Frontend Developer at Cyberport GmbH, your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining modern, responsive web frontends using React, TypeScript, Next.js, HTML, and CSS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features and improve existing components, ensuring they are accessible, performant, and visually appealing. Conducting unit and integration tests, particularly with tools like Playwright, will be part of your routine to guarantee application stability. You will actively explore and integrate AI coding tools into your workflow, sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues. Responsibility for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving bugs across development, testing, and live environments will be essential. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions to foster continuous improvement and technical excellence.
