About The Role We are seeking a talented Mobile Lead to join our dynamic product team at Drivers-Check. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our new DriversCheck app using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms. Your primary focus will be on creating a well-structured, fast, and secure application that offers an intuitive user experience. You will oversee the entire development lifecycle, from designing the architecture to preparing the app for release in the app stores. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to ensure that the app meets high standards of usability, security, and performance. You will also be actively involved in shaping the technical infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and API integrations, and will work on implementing security features such as biometric authentication and data encryption. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the technical direction of a modern, innovative product in a fast-growing company. Qualifications Several years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years in mobile app development.Proven expertise with React Native in building production-level applications for iOS and Android.Strong proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with modern development tools and workflows.Experience with REST API integration and backend communication, preferably with Laravel-based APIs.Solid understanding of mobile security best practices and handling of sensitive personal data in compliance with GDPR.Excellent command of German language (minimum B2+ level).Interest in creating user-friendly UX/UI designs and working closely with design teams.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, app store deployment, and version control.Ability to make architectural decisions and contribute actively to technical discussions. Responsibilities Lead the development and ongoing improvement of the DriversCheck mobile application using React Native, ensuring high quality and performance.Architect and implement app components, ensuring a clean, maintainable, and scalable codebase.Manage the entire release process, including CI/CD pipeline setup, testing, and submission to app stores.Design and implement user flows and UI components that deliver a smooth and engaging user experience.Integrate the app with the Laravel backend via REST APIs, actively participating in API design and requirements.Implement security features such as biometric authentication and data encryption to protect sensitive information.Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams to align development efforts with business goals.Stay updated on mobile security standards and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical strategy of the mobile platform.
