Lead DevOps Engineer

Lead DevOps Engineer Remote (UK Applicants Only - there will be an onsite final interview) £70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits Pack Lead DevOps Engineer with team leadership, Kubernetes and multi-cloud experience required by an outsourced communications services organisation. In this role you’ll take the lead of a small DevOps team, shaping how the team works, developing engineers and driving the technical direction of a growing cloud platform. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting products across AWS, Azure and GCP. You’ll provide day-to-day direction to the team, establish consistent engineering standards and help build the team’s capability, while working closely with development and infrastructure teams on resilient, cloud-native services. You’ll lead improvements across automation, GitOps, infrastructure as code and CI/CD, reducing manual effort while improving observability, SLOs, security, resilience and reliability. You’ll also act as a senior escalation point for complex production issues and participate in the shared on-call rota.
