Job: Senior Java Developer (Must Have NV1 Clearance) Duration: - 12 Months (Possible extension) Location: - Canberra or Sydney (Hybrid) We are looking for an experienced Java Developer for a long-term contract with a Federal Government agency. Required Skills Strong experience of at least of 5+ years or more in Java development including Spring.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain high quality, secure, robust and scalable enterprise level software solutions using Java and Java EE.In-depth technical knowledge of Java frameworks. Experience configuring and optimising Java EE application servers and java CI/CD pipelines.Must have some experience in AWS, especially API Gateway, Lambda, Redis, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, etc.Experience in designing and development of serverless microservice based RESTful API's (JSON).Experience with Source Control & managing code repositories (Bitbucket).Experience in writing and maintaining microservices using Node.js, AWS Lambda and AWS DynamoDB.Experience developing Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift) mobile apps would be a plusResponsibilities Engage with multiple technical and business stakeholders to understand business needs and product requirements and translate those needs into system level architectural propertiesWork closely with product delivery teams to develop scalable solutions and productsDocument solutions for both business and technical audiencesWorking with cloud op teams, other software developers, design and ensure good coding practices for developers, AWS, iOS, Android, PWA (progressive web apps) - smartphone app solutions.Visa Status Candidates must be an Australian Citizen and must have NV1 Clearance.
