Elisa has developed its own network automation software for over 15 years and today operates one of the most automated telecom networks in the industry.
We are now taking the next step: moving from advanced automation toward truly autonomous networks.
In the Autonomous Network Operations team, you will work at the core of this transition, building adaptive, self-managing capabilities that turn large-scale telecom networks into systems that can observe, decide, and improve continuously.
We are looking for two (Senior) Software Developers to join our Autonomous Network Operations team!
Based on your background and experience, you may be considered for either the Software Developer or Senior Software Developer position.
Business area and the team
Our team is building the Digital Master of Elisa's network: a unified model that represents everything from physical infrastructure to logical network resources and services.
We work on large-scale data modelling, distributed cloud-native systems, and network automation solutions that enable future autonomous network operations.
This is a new team consisting of network domain experts and software professionals, bringing together the best of both worlds.
We follow agile development practices and are constantly improving our ways of working.
We also keep the quality up, our code fresh and the technical debt very low.
Technologies
We’re working with modern software tools and DevOps practices.
Our system is based on event-driven microservices architecture and Google Spanner graph database.
It’s written in Golang and runs on Google Cloud Platform.
We do require that you have strong experience in backend development and databases.
The more experience you have with the technologies listed below, the better.
But most importantly – you are eager to learn new things by working as part of the team.
We do not require network expertise in your skillset, but this is a great learning opportunity in the world of networking and network automation.
