Role Description
The Senior Structural (HULL) Engineer will be responsible for leading structural design and analysis activities for ship hulls and related marine structures.
This on-site role, based in Gdańsk, includes developing and reviewing structural concepts, performing advanced calculations and finite element analyses, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, class rules, and safety standards.
The engineer will prepare and validate design documentation, coordinate CAD modeling, and support integration of hull structures with other ship systems.
Daily tasks involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams, interfacing with clients and classification societies, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
The Senior Structural (HULL) Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of design methodologies and support project management in planning, risk assessment, and technical decision-making.
Qualifications
