In this role, you will leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to manage our developer portal as code, establish reference patterns, and guide platform adoption across DevEx teams. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, custom integration frameworks, and complex data mapping. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Manage portal architecture as code by configuring provider setups across global regions (EU/US) using variables for secure credential handling.Developer Portal Resource Definition: Write .tf configurations to define custom port blueprints, entities, and actions utilizing the port-labs/port-labs provider.Enterprise Integration Frameworks: Utilize the Ocean framework (Python 3.11) to sync third-party data, develop config.yaml structures, and contribute to underlying integration lifecycle and script logic.CI/CD & Self-Service Orchestration: Build self-service action backends via GitHub Actions by writing automated YAML workflows triggered by workflow_dispatch events.Data Mapping & Transformation: Filter complex API responses, extract data paths, and map third-party fields to platform properties using advanced JQ manipulation.Observability Integration: Ingest external platform problems, Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and entities via Python frameworks, establishing robust webhook logic for real-time alerting. Required Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in Solutions Architecture or senior DevOps Engineering roles.IaC Mastery: Deep hands-on proficiency with Terraform (required) and Pulumi using Python or TypeScript (preferred alternative).Integration Ecosystems: Proven familiarity with Python-based integration structures, automated catalog discovery workflows, and API authentication patterns.CI/CD Expertise: Strong experience setting up self-service platforms, workflow automation, and secure context handling using repository secrets.Data Parsing: Fluent in using JQ for data transformation within application config structures (config.yaml / port-app-config.yml). Preferred Skills Cloud-Native Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes environments and modern enterprise DevOps ecosystems.Platform Consulting: Prior experience designing Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and working closely with Developer Experience (DevEx) squads.Third-Party Monitoring Tools: Experience building ingestion rules and webhooks for enterprise observability platforms like Dynatrace.
