# Lead Frontend Developer ## About the Role Landal is looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to take ownership of the client side of its web applications and help advance its digital platforms. The role focuses on building responsive, accessible, intuitive, and high-performance user experiences using Vue.js, web components, and Sitecore CMS. You will develop and maintain user-facing features, integrate frontend components with backend services and Sitecore APIs, and work closely with backend developers to deliver cohesive and scalable digital solutions. ## Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain user-facing frontend features for web applications. * Build dynamic, responsive, accessible, and intuitive interfaces using Vue.js and web components. * Develop and integrate frontend components within the Sitecore CMS environment. * Ensure frontend components align with content structures and backend services. * Integrate frontend applications with Sitecore APIs and backend services. * Collaborate closely with backend developers to deliver cohesive and scalable digital platforms. * Support unit testing and integration testing to maintain frontend quality and reliability. * Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues to ensure smooth functionality and a strong user experience. * Follow frontend development best practices, including code reviews and documentation. * Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively with development teams. * Work with outsourcing partners on frontend development projects. ## Required Qualifications ### Experience * 5–8 years of experience in frontend development. * Proficiency in Vue.js. * Experience working with Sitecore CMS and integrating frontend components with Sitecore backend services. * Experience with component-based architecture and state management using Vuex, Pinia, or similar technologies. * Experience translating UI/UX design concepts into functional frontend interfaces. * Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for data integration. * Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite. * Experience with frontend deployment processes. * Prior experience collaborating with outsourcing partners on frontend development projects. ### Technical Skills * Vue.js * Web Components * Sitecore CMS * Vuex / Pinia or similar state management * RESTful APIs * GraphQL * Git * Webpack / Vite * Frontend testing * Responsive and accessible web development * Component-based architecture * UI/UX implementation ### Collaboration Tools * Jira * Confluence * Git-based version control and collaboration workflows ## Preferred Qualifications * Strong understanding of frontend development best practices. * Experience working in collaborative frontend and backend development environments. * Experience supporting quality assurance through unit and integration testing. ## Work Arrangement & Employment * **Location:** Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands * **Work Arrangement:** Remote * **Employment Type:** Full-time * **Contract:** One-year contract with a one-month probation period, with the aim of eventually offering permanent employment. * **Working Hours:** 38 hours per week, equivalent to a 5-day workweek. * Part-time arrangements are available, with salary and vacation days calculated proportionally. ## Compensation & Benefits * 27 vacation days for a full-time workweek. * Flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home. * Home-office allowance of €2.40 per remote working day. * Travel reimbursement according to Landal's travel reimbursement policy: €0.23 per km, up to a maximum of 40 km one way. * Full reimbursement of public transport commuting costs. * Extensive training and development opportunities, including more than 150 online e-learning courses. * Participation in the Recreation Pension Fund, with the old-age pension premium amounting to 21.8% of the pension base, equally contributed by Landal and the employee. * Possibility of paid additional birth and parental leave. * Various collective insurance options, including free continuous travel insurance for employees and their families. * Employee booking arrangement. * Inclusive and collaborative working environment. * Flat organizational structure with a focus on mutual feedback and a short path from idea to action. * Opportunities for internal development and an independent, influential role. ## About Landal Landal is the employer for this role, which is listed within the **Travel Arrangements** industry and **Information Technology** job function.
