Description

We’re working with an established technology organisation that is growing its engineering team and looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a team delivering large-scale, business-critical applications. This is a 70% front-end focused role, with a strong emphasis on modern Angular development, while still giving you the opportunity to work across APIs, backend services and cloud infrastructure. You’ll have a hands-on role in technical design, development and delivery, as well as opportunities to influence engineering practices and support other engineers. Your Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain modern web applications, with a strong focus on front-end development. Build scalable, maintainable user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript and RxJS. Contribute to technical design and solution discussions across the application stack. Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services. Write clean, well-tested and maintainable code. Participate in code reviews and help promote strong engineering practices. Investigate production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis. Improve application reliability, performance, maintainability and test coverage. Work closely with product, architecture and engineering teams to deliver new functionality. Support and mentor less experienced engineers. Your Experience 5+ years’ commercial experience in software engineering, ideally within enterprise environments. Strong front-end development experience with Angular, TypeScript and RxJS. Good knowledge of modern Angular, including Signals. Experience working within Nx or monorepo environments. Strong understanding of REST APIs and API-driven architectures. Some experience working with Java/Spring-based services or similar backend technologies. Experience with AWS, CI/CD and production support. Strong understanding of automated testing and modern development practices. Experience with Vitest and/or Storybook would be beneficial. Exposure to observability tooling and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot would be advantageous.
