About The Role We are seeking a skilled Shopware Web Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic IT team in Lünen. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our e-commerce platform by developing, optimizing, and maintaining our Shopware 6-based online stores. Your responsibilities will include customizing plugins, creating new features, and ensuring the overall performance and security of our digital storefronts. Collaboration with marketing, product management, and other departments will be key to delivering engaging and technically robust e-commerce experiences. Additionally, you may support the ongoing development of our corporate website built on WordPress, contributing to our broader digital presence. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in Shopware development, especially with Shopware 6. Proficiency in PHP, Symfony, Twig, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Experience in plugin development and API integrations is highly desirable. A solid understanding of e-commerce processes, user experience (UX), and website performance optimization is required. Candidates should demonstrate a structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach, alongside strong communication skills and enthusiasm for cross-departmental collaboration. Reliability, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility are critical attributes for success in this role. Responsibilities Continuously develop, optimize, and maintain our Shopware 6 platforms to ensure high performance and security.Create and adapt custom plugins, extensions, and interfaces to meet evolving business requirements.Implement new functionalities, features, and landing pages in close cooperation with the marketing team.Provide technical support for campaigns, product launches, and digital marketing initiatives.Monitor website and shop performance, analyze data, and implement ongoing improvements.Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and efficiently, providing effective solutions.Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, procurement, and product management teams to align technical developments with business goals.Assist in the further development of the corporate website based on WordPress, as needed.
