The Role We are looking for a Software Engineer to work on both legacy and new software projects. The Engineer would be responsible to help the legacy system through upgrades, maintenance and new feature development depending on the needs of the business. Along with these areas, the engineer will help with the build of the new microservices to help with the future deprecation of the legacy system. New development will include cloud native development in Golang, configuration and management of deployments via CI/CD pipelines. The work will include building API and Services with the collaboration of other teams. How To Make An Impact Design, build, code review and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in Java or GolangIntegration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problemsHelp maintain code quality, organization and automatizationHelp create new microservicesCreate and maintain configuration files for deployment into infrastructureOperate on a Scrum team while contributing to Agile ceremonies and practices About You You are a collaborative, adaptable engineer who thrives in an agile team environment. You possess a strong problem-solving mindset, a commitment to code quality and automation, and a willingness to learn new technologies and practices to help drive complex software modernizations forward. Your background 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer building applications using language with Golang (open to work in Java) or Java (open to work in Golang)Strong understanding of Unit testing, fundamental design principles behind a scalable application, and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres)Proven experience working in a microservices architecture and building RESTful APIsExperience with continuous integration tools such as CircleCI or GitHub, and a willingness to learn how to contribute to automation test suitesExperience or familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka event streaming, observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Humio), and test automation is a plus This role is based in Colombia About Arrive Arrive, including brands like EasyPark, Flowbird, RingGo, ParkMobile and Parkopedia, is a leading global mobility platform.
