About The Role
The role builds user-facing interfaces that thousands of customers interact with daily — owning frontend architecture, performance, and accessibility for a core product surface.
Working closely with product designers and backend engineers, the team ships features weekly in a React/TypeScript codebase where bundle size, render performance, and type safety are treated as first-class engineering concerns, not afterthoughts.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain complex React components with TypeScript, including state management patterns using Redux Toolkit or ZustandOwn feature delivery end-to-end: wireframe review, API contract negotiation with backend teams, implementation, testing, and rolloutOptimize rendering performance — bundle analysis, code splitting, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals improvementsIntegrate REST and GraphQL APIs, handling caching strategies, optimistic updates, and error statesImplement and maintain accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive layouts across breakpointsWrite unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library; contribute to E2E coverage with PlaywrightParticipate in design reviews, RFCs, and code reviews that shape frontend architecture across the org
What We Are Looking For
3–6 years of frontend engineering experience building production web applications at scaleDeep proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, or CSS Modules)Experience with state management at scale and debugging complex rendering/performance issuesHands-on experience with build tooling (Vite or Webpack), CI pipelines, and browser dev toolingBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experienceStrong communication skills and a track record of collaborating directly with designers and backend engineersBonus: Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering, WebGL/D3 visualizations, or design systems work
