Azure Java Developer

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with Azure Cloud expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and Microsoft Azure. The candidate will work closely with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to build and deploy secure, reliable, and cloud-native applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.Develop scalable and resilient microservices-based applications.Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Microsoft Azure.Work with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Monitor.Develop cloud-native solutions following Azure best practices.Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API integrations.Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate application deployment and infrastructure processes.Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.Write unit and integration tests and maintain high-quality, production-ready code.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in Java.Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+.Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.Hands-on experience developing microservices and REST APIs.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.Strong SQL and database development experience.Experience with Git and modern software development practices.Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools.Strong understanding of application security and cloud security concepts.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Experience with Azure Functions and serverless architecture.Experience with Azure Service Bus/Event Grid.Experience with Azure API Management.Experience with Cosmos DB.Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, and identity management.Experience with observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or ELK.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a strong Java backend engineer with hands-on Azure cloud experience, capable of developing modern microservices, working with Azure services, and supporting applications throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
