Telespazio Belgium has an on‑site service at ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we are looking for a highly skilled SW PA support Engineer to work there. What is expected from you: The following task shall be performed in support to the ESA Work package TechnicalResponsible of the service:Contribute to the establishing of the programmatic and technical software PA requirements within the framework of the ESA Software Product Assurance policy.Evaluate contractor’s plans, technical specifications and efforts proposed for the execution of the S/W PA programme, and their compliance with respect to the applicable baseline.Review of the project/mission PA plans and the compliance matrix w.r.t. the PA & Engineering Requirements.Monitor and evaluate the implementation of SW PA documentation, processes and procedures analyses, reports and technical notes.Monitoring of project/mission analysis activities in order to ensure proper implementation of the PA & Engineering Requirements, including attendance to project/mission reviews and meetings when requested.Participate to project reviews, meetings, Configuration Control Boards, Nonconformance Review Boards and Software Review Boards.Prepare design trade-offs, analyses and reports using metrics to support project decisions.Participate to software product evaluations and process assessments.Establish and maintain databases to track NCRs, RFWs, action items etc. as required.What you offer: Master’s degree in software engineering or computer science with background on space engineering.Relevant Software Product Assurance experience.Familiarity with space product assurance practices together with a good working knowledge of appropriate working tools.Practical experience in applying ECSS standards, more specifically [RD-01], and[RD-02].Agile practices.Quality assurance for Machine Learning models.Big Data software architectures and life-cycles.Configuration management of complex systems.Data quality assuranceHands-on experience with static code analysis and tools.Alternative software development life-cycles, continuous integration and tools.Security assurance and security best practicesSoftware engineering and PA in critical applications.System security analysis, design and associated toolsSecurity accreditation and certification methodologies and processes.Safety certificationWhat we offer: A competitive salary30 days of paid annual leave, plus the days ESTEC is closed including public holidays (~12 days) based on a 40-hour working week;Hybrid working scheme (3 days in the office and 2 days remote in the Netherlands)Flexible working hours; you are in charge of your own agenda respecting core working hoursFully paid collective extensive health insurance scheme;A good pension scheme with no personal contribution;A career development (Coursera membership + training budget);Travel allowance;Extensive relocation packageWhere: You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium.
