Our challenge We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer with strong Salesforce expertise to support, maintain, and enhance business-critical Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have 8–12+ years of production/application support experience, hands-on exposure to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) migration, and strong knowledge of data migration, data management, integration, and incident management processes. The role requires expertise in troubleshooting Salesforce production issues, analyzing data and integrations, supporting release and change activities, and collaborating with business, development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure application stability and availability. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $100K - CAD $120K/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 production and application support for Salesforce-based applications.Monitor Salesforce applications, integrations, interfaces, scheduled jobs, and data-processing activities.Investigate and resolve production incidents, service requests, defects, and data issues within defined SLAs.Support Salesforce migration initiatives, including Financial Services Cloud (FSC) migration and related application/data transition activities.Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and correction across Salesforce and integrated systems.Troubleshoot data synchronization and integration issues involving MuleSoft, High Pick, and other data integration tools.Write and execute SQL queries to investigate application, integration, and data-related issues.Use SOQL and Salesforce query tools to retrieve, validate, and analyze Salesforce data.Analyze Salesforce logs, integration logs, error messages, batch jobs, APIs, and system alerts.Support Salesforce configuration and production changes in accordance with approved change-management procedures.Coordinate with Salesforce developers, administrators, architects, integration teams, database teams, and business stakeholders.Perform impact analysis, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action for recurring issues.Maintain incident records, problem investigations, known-error documentation, support procedures, and operational runbooks.Support release deployments, validation testing, smoke testing, and post-deployment verification.Participate in production readiness reviews, release planning, and change approval activities.Ensure application support activities follow ITIL processes, including incident, problem, request, and change management.Provide regular status updates, incident communications, escalation reports, and service-level metrics.Participate in on-call, weekend, or rotational support activities, if required.Identify opportunities to improve support processes, monitoring, automation, documentation, and operational efficiency.
